Jetco Heavy Duty Lighting (a division of Auto-Spares Canada Inc.) (“Jetco”, “we”, “our”, or “us”) stands behind the quality of our products. Our limited warranties protect against defects in materials and workmanship under normal use and service, subject to the terms outlined below.
Warranty Return Requirements
- • An RMA number must be obtained before returning any product.
- • RMA numbers are valid for 30-days from the date of issue.
- • Products received after the 30-day period may require a new RMA.
- • All warranty returns must be shipped prepaid. Collect shipments will not be accepted.
- • Only genuine Jetco Heavy Duty Lighting products purchased through Jetco or an authorized distributor are eligible for warranty consideration.
- • If the product was purchased through a distributor or transferred between company locations, please provide the distributor name (or branch) and the approximate purchase date.
Products determined not to qualify for warranty coverage may be returned at the customer’s expense or disposed of upon the customer’s instructions.
Making a Warranty Claim
Before returning any product, you must obtain a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) from Jetco Heavy Duty Lighting.

Warranty Coverage
Jetco LED Products
Jetco Heavy Duty Lighting warrants Jetco branded LED lighting products against defects in materials and workmanship for five (5) years from the original date of purchase, unless otherwise specified.
If a covered product is found to be defective during the warranty period, Jetco will, at its sole discretion, repair or replace the product.
Jetco Carefree LED Warranty®
Certain serial-numbered Jetco products may be purchased with the optional Jetco Carefree LED Warranty®.
This optional, extended, warranty provides coverage for five (5) years against defects in materials and workmanship and accidental damage to the lamp, excluding damage resulting from:
- • Improper installation
- • Improper mounting
- • Product modification or alteration
- • Improper wiring
- • Misuse or abuse
Eligible products will be repaired or replaced, at Jetco’s sole discretion, during the applicable warranty period.
Black Diamond™ LED Products
Black Diamond™ branded LED products are covered by a two (2) year limited warranty against defects in materials and workmanship under normal use and operating conditions.
Non-LED Products
Jetco-branded non-LED products are covered by a one (1) year limited warranty against defects in materials and workmanship under normal use.
This warranty does not apply to:
- • Sealed beam lamps
- • Halogen bulbs
- • Miniature lamps
unless otherwise specified.
Warranty Exclusions
Unless specifically covered by the Jetco Carefree LED Warranty®, this warranty does not cover damage resulting from:
- • Accidents
- • Misuse or abuse
- • Improper installation
- • Improper wiring
- • Product modification or alteration
- • Failure to properly maintain electrical connections
- • Corrosion resulting from inadequate maintenance
- • Normal wear and tear
To help ensure reliable performance, electrical connections should be inspected and cleaned regularly to help prevent corrosion.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Jetco Heavy Duty Lighting’s liability under this warranty is limited to the repair or replacement of the defective product.
Jetco Heavy Duty Lighting shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages, including labour costs, vehicle downtime, loss of use, loss of profits, or any other damages arising from the use of, or inability to use, the product.
Nothing in this warranty limits or excludes any rights or remedies that cannot be excluded under applicable Canadian law.
